Australian rock band Powderfinger is preparing to add more concerts to its highly anticipated 2027 reunion tour after an overwhelming response from fans.

The band confirmed that all 26 scheduled performances have sold out, with more than 300,000 tickets purchased. Demand has exceeded ticket sales for Powderfinger’s 2010 farewell tour, highlighting the continued popularity of the group nearly 17 years after its final run of shows.

The reunion tour will bring Powderfinger back to stages across Australia, with performances scheduled in Brisbane, Cairns, Perth, Sydney, Adelaide, and Melbourne.

Frontman Bernard Fanning and his bandmates have expressed their gratitude for the enthusiastic response. With many fans unable to secure tickets during the initial sales, the group has pledged to announce additional performances in selected cities.

Specific dates and ticketing details for the extra concerts have not yet been confirmed.

Powderfinger became one of Australia’s most successful rock acts during its original run, earning widespread recognition for songs including My Happiness, These Days, and Sunsets.

The upcoming reunion will mark a significant return for the band, bringing its music back to audiences across the country.
